The Grade Sixes were phenomenal leaders while helping their buddies decorate their rice krispie houses. I was so proud. Here are some pictures of the kids that were in Miss Jenkins' group.

The adventures of Blizzard Jr.

Christmas Sweater Contest on Friday, December 16th. Come to school with your best Christmas sweater!!

The students have been very creative in helping to decorate our school and classroom!

We are all glad we have a fire to warm up in front of on these chilly days! ;)

6B is very thankful for Buddy the elf who saved our Blizzard Jr.!! All is well again!! 

A new friend came to our class today. He brought us yummy treats!! Santa gave us the privilege of naming him. We named him Blizzard Jr.!

He's going to make sure the students are on their best behaviour for the next couple of weeks!!

I guess it was Camo Friday. :)

6B did an absolute phenomenal job with our Grade 1 buddies on Friday morning! They did a math game together and then helped the young ones get logged onto the Chromebooks, and play math games online with them. I was so proud!! :)

 

In our kick off lesson of Shape & Space in Math, students were asked to go around the school and identify angles in their environment. The students seemed to enjoy it and came up with amazingly creative examples of angles!



As we are blasting off into our Sky Science unit, students wrote a question they are curious about and want to find out. We will answer them through the unit and then research some at the end. Students are enthusiastic about our amazing universe!!
